Requesting customer's phone number in a messenger
From Planfix
This feature lets you request a customer's phone number directly in the messenger chat and automatically link it to the existing contact card.
Features
- Quickly verify customer's identity without SMS or phone calls.
- Enrich the CRM database — new numbers are added or existing ones updated.
- Improve security and support quality — you know exactly who is writing.
How it works
- An action "Request contact phone" is added to an automatic script.
- A button is sent to the client in the messenger, for example "Share phone".
- After pressing it, the messenger automatically sends the confirmed number to Planfix.
- In Planfix the confirmed number is added as a comment to the Task and set in the appropriate field on the contact card.
Setup
- Add a script or button to the Object.
- Specify the action: "Request contact phone number".
- Configure parameters:
- Recipient: Counterparty
- Button text: Share phone
- Message text: Please share your phone number to confirm your identity.
- Comment author: Script initiator

Important
