System fields

System Fields are fields in tasks, contacts, and projects that cannot be changed in any way. They are used to making sure Planfix runs reliably. System fields cannot be edited, new ones cannot be added, nor can they be added to the set of fields.

Access to task system fields

  • To set up access to the system fields of tasks, go to Account managementCustom fieldsTask fieldsSystem fields.
  • Select a system field and set the necessary access levels for employees or contacts.
  • Note, for the "Date" field:
    • In tasks without mandatory result checking — the date can be changed by assignees, even if they are normally prohibited from doing so by permissions.
    • Employees who do not have the rights to change dates according to the settings can request their change.

Access to contact system fields

  • To set up access to the system fields of contacts, go to Account managementCustom fieldsContact fieldsSystem fields.
  • Select a system field and set the necessary access levels for employees or contacts.

Access to project system fields

  • To set up access to the system fields of projects, go to Account managementCustom fieldsProject fieldsSystem fields.
  • Select a system field and set the necessary access levels for employees or contacts.

Important

  • An employee with the permissions to edit a system field will be able to change data in it in any task.
