Project roles

Planfix uses a role system that's different from what most other collaboration tools use. Each role has specific permissions in a project, so it's a good idea to familiarize yourself with the descriptions for each role:

• Project creator
• Project auditor
• Client manager
• Default assignee
• Default participant
• Custom project role

A project Counterparty is a unique role, which allows you to specify the company for which you are completing the project. This role affects the project's visibility for customers you grant advanced access to your Planfix account: they can only see projects where their company is listed as the counterparty, allowing you to work with several customers simultaneously without them seeing each other's projects in the list.
