Planner group
Planners can be grouped — by departments, projects, or work directions. Instead of a long list in the left panel, you get folders, and the planner you need is a couple of clicks away.
How to create a group
- Open the "Planner" section.
- At the bottom of the left panel, click "Add..." and choose "Group".
- In the "New group" window, enter a name and check the planners that will be included in the group.
- Click "Apply".
The group will appear in the left panel, and the checked planners will move into it. You can collapse or expand the group with the arrow to the left of the name — the state is remembered, so a collapsed group will remain collapsed after reloading.
Planners you did not check remain in their places in the general list.
Group settings
Hover over the group and click the three dots to the right of the name. The menu has three items:
- "Edit name" — rename the group.
- "Create planner" — a new planner will be created directly in this group.
- "Delete" — remove the group from the panel.
How to change the group's content
You change a planner's group membership from the planner itself — hover over it, click the three dots, and choose the appropriate item:
- "Move to group..." — put the planner into a group or move it from one group to another.
- "Remove from group" — return the planner to the general panel list.
A planner lives in exactly one group: when you move it into a new one, it disappears from the previous one.
Only the planner's author can manage its group membership.
How to delete a group
- Hover over the group, click the three dots and choose "Delete".
- When a group is deleted the planners inside it are not lost: they return to the general list on the left panel. Only the group itself is removed.
Who sees the group
A group has no separate access settings — it is shown based on the planners contained in it:
- The group author always sees it.
- Other employees see the group if they have access to at least one planner in it. Inside they will only see the planners they have access to.
- If an employee has access to no planners in the group, they will not see the group itself — an empty folder will not appear in the panel.
Therefore the same group can look different to different employees: the author will see all planners of the group, a colleague from a neighboring department may see two of them, and someone who has access to none will not have the group in their panel at all.
Access is configured on the planner — use the "Set permissions" item in its menu.
