Types of objects
Types of objects are divided into two groups:
- system
- custom
System object types
System object types are present in every account from the moment it is created. They cannot be deleted, but can be configured flexibly to fit your processes. System types include:
The set of available settings depends on the object type:
| Type | Available settings |
|---|---|
| Task | Processes, Statuses, Custom fields, Custom script operations |
| Contact | Processes, Custom fields, Contact groups, Phone number types |
| Project | Custom fields |
| Employee | Custom fields, Positions, Day-off types, Working time |
To go to settings, select the desired object type in the list — a panel with settings sections will open on the right.
Custom object types
You create custom object types yourself — for the entities your company specifically works with: invoices, requests, equipment, documents, content, or anything else.
To create a new object type, click the "New Object" button at the top of the "Types of objects" section.
For a custom object type you define:
- the set of fields that will store the data
- statuses that reflect the stages of the object's lifecycle
- scripts and buttons to automate working with it
This is how a digital twin of any entity from your real work appears in the account — with its own data structure and its own logic.
