Significant Updates to the Planfix Billing System

We recently announced some changes to our billing system and got great feedback from you. Thanks for the help!

You pointed out a few areas where the new system could be cumbersome. We have taken your thoughts to heart and made the following updates:

  1. Limits are now again tied to your account package rather than individual team members. This change makes calculating costs and selecting services easier and more convenient.
  2. The number of operations you can perform now depends solely on the number of users in your account. For example, our “Business” package includes 5,000 operations per user, roughly equivalent to one automated task every two working minutes.
  3. Resource upgrade packages are now separate from team member licenses and have their pricing. The latest information is on our pricing page.
  4. If your account limit is running low, you can add an upgrade package to increase your total limit.

These changes will make the billing system smoother for everyone.

Improved Task Filter Menu

We’ve updated the vertical task filter menu to make it even easier and more convenient to use!

First, we have revised the design. The “Add ” option is now located directly below your current filters, so you no longer have to search for it. When you hit the button, a handy submenu of display options, including Kanban, opens.

The search is also simplified. By default, it’s collapsed, but with one click, you can expand it and search directly for the desired filter.

Changes in Summary Fields

Summary fields in Planfix — a feature we’re constantly tweaking to make your life easier. Now, you can filter and sort projects based on the data from these fields.

We’ve also added a bulk action option to recalculate the values in the summary fields, saving you time and optimizing your project workflow.

Planfix Knowledge Base Update

Every company gathers valuable insights that are worth organizing over time. A well-structured knowledge base helps tackle tasks faster and train your team more effectively. That’s where a knowledge base comes in handy!

Previously, Planfix users relied on the Directory for this purpose. But now, we’ve got a more modern and user-friendly solution — Objects. With Objects, storing and finding information is a breeze!

New Features When Working with New Object Forms

Now, when you’re working with new object forms, the window will automatically scroll as you drag fields around.

Working with tons of fields just got a whole lot easier! Moving fields within the template or between fields is now seamless and hassle-free.

A New Planfix Mobile App 0.63 is Available

  1. Say hello to the new “Support” section! Need help? Just contact us. We’re here for you.
  2. Long-press on the plus sign, and voilà! You can create a task by voice, with a photo, or using a template. This is super handy —give it a shot!
  3. We’ve included a nifty pop-up for Android users to help you manage your notifications. It’ll appear if you accidentally turn off notifications in your phone settings.
  4. Of course, we’ve ironed out some bugs and polished things up to improve your app experience.
