First, a little tip. Before you can start analyzing calls, contacts, you need to activate speech recognition. No speech = nothing to analyze. It’s as simple as that.

After activation, Planfix automatically sets up the “Call analysis” Data Tag and the “Telephony – Call Analysis” report for you – no additional clicks required.
The Data Tag and Report contain the following fields:
● Date
● Employee
● Contact
● Call topic
● Keywords
● Overall dialog tone
● Call (outcome) status
● Incidents / critical issues
● Recommended next steps for the manager
Just flip on voice recognition and phone call analytics, let the first few calls roll in, and open the report.

Customizing Sales Call Analysis in Planfix
You can also customize the call analysis by optimizing the data tags and adding the necessary fields. Simply edit the current setup, and any new fields you add will be filled in automatically. (NOTE: At the moment, this works with fields like String, Text, and Value Set)
But that’s not all! You can also give Planfix AI a few additional hints on how to handle each field. Let’s say you want all fields to be filled in with simple “Yes” or “No” answers:

Call Analysis Report: Building Actionable Reports
As mentioned above, after activating call analysis, Planfix automatically generates both data tags and a report with a set of predefined fields. You can use the report immediately, as it pulls the data directly from the data tags.
However, if you decide to tweak the default data tags and add new fields, you will also need to update the report. But this is easy, too! Simply add new columns to match your new fields.

Each column in the report corresponds to a field in your call data tags. So, if you add the right fields with clear names, you’ll end up with a report that’s easy to read, easy to analyze, and free of all the usual clutter.
