Throughout March, the Planfix team was fine-tuning the system. We’re excited to announce a host of fixes designed to increase efficiency and improve user experience. Stay tuned for the latest updates!

Tracking Your Work Hours Is Now Easier

We’ve revamped the timer: Now, everything looks neat and visually appealing.

And yes, don’t worry — the new timer works perfectly with the “Date with time frame” field, which considers time zones. So you always have your hours perfectly under control.

A New Integration

Planfix and Microsoft Outlook Calendars Now Work Together. No more tab-hopping to check what’s up next on your meeting schedule!

Two New Whiteboard Features

Firstly, you can now wrap the text on a new line by simply hitting Shift + Enter, which helps you organize your thoughts and makes the text easier to read.

Secondly, you can now position the text exactly how you want it. This allows you to arrange blocks of text in different ways and create more precise, visual layouts.

Check it out in action:

Also, you can now easily create blocks with already established links in the Whiteboard. Just click on the connection point to do so!

Gantt Chart in Subtasks

You can now switch directly to the Gantt chart view in your subtasks.

We have also optimized your workflow: Subtasks now open in the same window, expanding to full width for a quicker and more convenient experience.

We’re Excited to Present Two Updates

  1. First, we’ve revised how you drag and drop tasks into the Planner. Things are now more straightforward: if a task can be added to a list, it will light up green. If not, it turns red.
  2. Secondly, we have given Reminders in the Chronicle a makeover by popular demand. Instead of a badge, you’ll now see a bell icon

A New Planfix Mobile App 0.65 is Available

What’s New:

  • We’ve added a cool feature that allows you to scan barcodes and QR codes directly in the text fields of your tasks. Simply turn it on in the Planfix web version settings, and as soon as you scan, the info magically appears in the field. This feature is available from our Business package onwards.
  • In the “Table” view, you can now collapse the list rows like in the web version. Great, isn’t it?

Improvements:

  • Our hourly calendar now also takes into account task names created from templates. If the name contains a variable, the full task creation form opens. No more unpredictable surprises with the previous short form!
  • We have fixed the bug when adding files to directory entries. Now everything runs smoothly, as it should!
