Here's how it works:
Planfix lets you create custom project roles, which are roles that you add to the system yourself.
*One of the types of user fields that can be added to a project card is an Employee field.
*Each Employee field added to a project template becomes available in task templates. It appears in the list of assignees, participants, and auditors.

Here's how it works:
*One type of custom field that you can add to a project car is an Employee field.
*Each type of this field added to a project template becomes available in task templates. It appears in the list of assignees, participants, and auditors.

This let's you create any number of roles, add them to a project template, and then select employees to fulfill the roles when creating a new project using this template.
This feature allows you to define any role (or multiple roles), add them to a project template, and assign them to specific employees when you create a new project based on the template.

The tasks in a project created using this template will automatically inherit these settings. The tasks will involve the employees selected for this specific project.
Tasks within the project created with this template automatically inherit these settings and are assigned to employees intended for the corresponding roles.
Creating custom roles
In Planfix it is possible to create custom (i.e., add your own) role in the project. This mechanism works in the following way:
New fields can be added when editing or creating a project template:

*One of custom fields, which can be added to the project card is Employee.

*Each attached to a project template field of this type becomes available in the Task templates in the list of Assignees, Participants and Auditors of the task.
Select the Employee field type, name the field, and configure access as needed:

Move the field you've created to the appropriate spot in the project card:

This allows you to come up with any role (or several), add them to the project template, then when creating new project template select the specific employees who will perform these roles.

Objectives of the project created by this template will automatically inherit these settings and are placed at selected for this specific project staff.
You can also drag and drop it to the appropriate spot as shown here.

Planfix lets you create custom project roles, which are roles that you add to the system yourself.

Here's how it works:

This feature allows you to define any role (or multiple roles), add them to a project template, and assign them to specific employees when you create a new project based on the template.

Tasks within the project created with this template automatically inherit these settings and are assigned to employees intended for the corresponding roles.

Creating custom roles

New fields can be added when editing or creating a project template:

Select the Employee field type, name the field, and configure access as needed:

Move the field you've created to the appropriate spot in the project card:

You can also drag and drop it to the appropriate spot as shown here.

Now the custom field will be in all projects created using this template.

Using custom roles in a project's task templates

In task templates within this project's template, we need to select project fields (not specific people) for the roles of assignee, participant, and/or auditor:

Creating a project using a template with custom roles

When creating a project using a template, you will only need to specify once who should fill what role in the project:

Project tasks will automatically be assigned to the selected employees:

Changing the user in a custom role within an existing project

It's possible to change the employee in a selected custom role. Your changes will be applied to all task projects created using the template that contains the role:
