By default, each employee has access only to the base workspace, which contains the full functionality of Planfix. If in addition to the base, the employee given access to others workspaces, it has a menu item in the main menu that switches between workspaces:

To switch to the desired workspace, click on the rocket icon in the main menu and select the desired workspace.

Notes:

  • If the employee has access only to the basic workspace, the work space menu item ("rocket") will not be displayed for him
  • System administrators always see the workspaces menu

Switching between workspaces for clients

By default, each client has access to the base workspace, which contains some of the Planfix functionality, accessible to external users. Also it can be given access to additional workspaces. In this case, the switching logic between the workspaces for the client differs somewhat:

  • If in addition to the base, the client has access to one additional workspace, it will automatically work in this additional workspace. The menu for switching between workspaces will not be visible and it will not be possible to switch to the base workspace. This is done in order not to display an extra item ("rocket") in the main menu.
  • If the client has access to two or more workspaces other than the base workspace, he sees the workspace menu and can switch between them, including the base workspace.

Important

  • The ability to switch to a particular workspace does not result in the user seeing any data in the Planfix interface that are not intended for it. Access to the data is completely determined access rights for a specific user.
