At the first step, you must:
- select the group where the report will be located
- name the report
- select the object whose data will be used in the report
Your choice of an object affects which data you will be able to manipulate in the next steps for building the report. If you are having trouble deciding on an object, here are two ideas:
- select the standard Planfix report that is most similar to yours and see what object is selected in it;
- leave the default object and see what happens. If you aren't satisfied with the results, you can always go back and change the object.
In more complicated cases, you can write to Planfix tech support. We can advise on using this feature and help you figure things out.
