Gantt chart

A Gantt chart is a type of visual report available in Planfix. It displays tasks as horizontal bars along a timeline, clearly indicating the start, duration, and end dates. Gantt charts are handy for project planning and deadline tracking.

Here is an example of what planned project schedules look like in a Gantt chart:


The Gantt chart is created based on data from a report and consists of two axes:

  • Horizontal axis (X) – A time scale divided by days. It shows when the individual project tasks start and end.
  • Vertical axis (Y) – A list of projects, each of which is displayed with the corresponding task schedules.
