Fields of this type are used for storing contact information. You can create a Contact field as a custom field, a directory field, or a data tag field.
Example of a Contact field type:
Parameters for this type of field in directories:
- Mandatory field — prevents saving the directory entry until this field has a value.
- Show in entry list — allows selecting additional directory field for display.
Parameters for this type of field in data tags:
- Wrap the heading — allows long headers to be wrapped onto a new line.
A contact will be displayed in this field if the box Display in task participant selection list is checked in their profile.
Useful
- You can use filters in custom fields to display only those contacts in the selection list that meet specific conditions.
