Task (Field type)

This type of field is used to store a link to one task. You can create a Task field as a custom field, a directory field, or a data tag field.

Example of a Task field:

Field Parameters

• No duplication — this option will not allow saving the field value if it already exists for this field in another task/contact.

Parameters for this type of field in directories:

• Mandatory field — prevents saving the directory entry until this field has a value.
• Show in entry list — allows selecting additional directory field for display.

Parameters for this type of field in data tags:

• Wrap the heading — allows long headers to be wrapped onto a new line.

Helpful Tip:

• You can use filters in custom fields to display only tasks that meet specified conditions in the selection list for the field.
