The template allows you to quickly create common tasks with pre-defined settings: draft, implementers, description, etc.
By default, each account has at least one template called “Standard template”. This template creates a task, unless you select another template. This template can be edited, but not deleted. You can create any number of templates and determine which one will be used by default.
