You can set rules by which emails sent to a special email address will be converted into Planfix tasks. These can be emails sent to virtual email addresses, employee email addresses, or project-specific email addresses.

Configuration of such rules can be done in Account Management / Email:

For example, you can configure rules by which emails sent to a specific virtual email address will be turned into tasks. To do this, go to Virtual email addresses:

Helpful information

  • In the Rules for groups section you can create rules that will apply to all employees in a group.
  • Rules for processing emails sent to an employee's internal email address can also be configured in the employee's user card:

Important

If you create tasks via email in Planfix, there is a limitation to creating contacts and adding contacts as task participants. For example, if you enter more than 20 email addresses in the "Email copy" field, Planfix cannot create new contacts or add them as task participants, considering such an email to be a bulk email.
