This example shows how to create a recurring task that will repeat every day and must be completed by the assignee within the same day.
We create a task template, set the fields in the template as we need, enter in the necessary data:
Setting the date when the task should be created
When the task should be created is set in the task recurrence window:
In the appeared window, set the conditions when the task will be created:
In the presented example, the task will be created daily at the beginning of the assignee's working day, starting from the date 08-02-2024.
Set deadlines for the task:
Please note:
There are several ways to set task deadlines in the template:
- you can link to the creation date of the task; the due date of the task is calculated as "creation date + duration."
- you can link it to the date of acceptance of the task by the assignee; the due date of the task is then calculated as "date of acceptance of the task by the assignee + duration";
- you can link it to the start date of the task, in which case the task's due date is calculated as the "planned start date of the task + duration."
Important!
The "Creation Date" and "Acceptance Date" blocks only work if the start date is not specified:
It is important to note that the system works with the work schedule of the assignee, which is set in his card, for a fixed duration of the task.
