Default contact template

In the employee card settings, there is an option to select a template which he will use to create contacts.

Setting the default contact/company template for an employee:


This setting has the following application limitations:

  • The setting applies to creating contacts with methods that do not override the template, for example, creating a contact with the Plus icon in the main menu. Suppose a task is created in the contact filter or in the Planner list that contains a selection condition by a specific contact template. In that case, the template specified in the condition is used, and the default contact template is ignored.
  • This template is inserted in the window for creating a contact. But the user creating the contact or company can change it to another template available to him by selecting it from the list.
