Mutli-line text

This type of field stores pieces of text information. There is no maximum number of characters, and this field is limited only by the overall size of a directory entry (16 MB).

Example of a Text field type in a directory:

Field options:

• Mandatory - you can't save a directory entry if this field doesn't contain a value
• Display field as table column - controls the visibility of a field when viewing the directory as a table
• Use text editor - a text editor is used to fill in this field, allowing for formatting
