Synchronization is a mode in which changing conditions in one list in the current planner results in changes to conditions in other lists. For example, let's say you change the day on a calendar list. When synchronizing, other calendar lists in the current planner will automatically switch to that day, too.

  • Synchronizing mode can be enabled in the drop-down menu of the planner you're in:

If there is a list you don't need to synchronize, you can disable synchronization for that specific list:

How synchronization works

Only changes to the filters in the task list are synchronized. When you edit a list, these changes are automatically applied to other synchronized lists within the same planner.

The following changes to task filters are synchronized:

  • adding a new condition
  • changing the condition type
  • modifying the condition operator
  • changing the condition value
  • removing a condition

The following changes to task cards and the task card menu are synchronized:

  • adding fields and operations
  • modifying fields and operations
  • removing fields and operations

Important: The entire task card is not synchronized. You cannot set up the appearance of a task card in one list and transfer those settings to another list via synchronization.

Practical use case

For example, you can display only tasks related to a specific project in a planner with multiple task lists.

  • Enable synchronization for the relevant task lists in the planner, as shown in the first screenshot.
  • Add a filtering condition to any of the synchronized lists:
  • The filter condition will automatically apply to all synchronized lists, filtering tasks based on the new condition:

Please note

Filter logic, sorting, grouping, header color, and other task list settings are not synchronized:
