Synchronization is a mode in which changing conditions in one list in the current planner results in analogous changes to conditions in other lists. For example, let's say you change the day on a calendar list. When synchronizing, other calendar lists in the current planner will automatically switch to that day, too.
The synchronizing mode can be enabled in the drop-down menu of the planner you're in:
