Important

This help article is outdated. Currently, processes are configured within the Object. We recommend using the Objects help documentation to set up business processes in your account.

Status sets are an important component of task processes. They define which statuses a task can have, or which statuses an object created based on a task during its lifecycle can have. They also determine the rules for transitioning between statuses and other related settings.

A status set can be created or edited in the corresponding process tab:

Clicking the name of a set opens an interface for editing it:

where you can add, edit, or delete statuses, as well as set rules for switching between them.
