In Account management section (is available to account administrators) you can set rules for processing messages incoming to task:
These rules apply to:
- Answers to notification messages from the task (about creating a task, about a new action, etc.)
- Messages sent directly to e-mail address of teh task
Each incoming message is subsequently checked for compliance with the conditions of each of the configured rules. If the rule conditions are met, the operations described in the rule that affect the action created by this message are carried out.
Example of a rule for processing emails coming ot the task address
This rule checks whether the incoming message includes text "Best wishes," and if it finds it, then it removes everything from the original text of the message beginning with this label from the text of the comment (the original text of the message, which is available on a special link in the added action, remains unchanged).
Similar rules can be added for other common uses (for example, Best regards, etc.), from which the signatures begin. The same approach will allow you to get rid of uninformative automatic texts in incoming letters from other systems. All this allows you to reduce the length of the text added to the text and improve its readability.
