Chat view

Planfix chat isn't a traditional chat platform between people — instead, it displays messages between users for different tasks. With the Chat display, the task comment feed looks like messages in an instant messenger:

Switch the comment feed to Chat in any task by doing the following:

You can view task data (description, additional fields, and checklist) without scrolling through the comment feed:

With Chat view enabled, tasks have an additional panel: Pinned comments. This panel can be opened by clicking the icon in the panel or the task heading:

Pinned comments are opened on the side panel:

Press Ctrl+Enter to send a comment:

If you need to write a longer comment, you can expand the editing area:

You can open the editing toolbar as needed:
