Linked fields are a feature of custom fields that links task fields or contact fields. These linked fields always work in pairs: When one field is filled in, the other is automatically updated.
The setting for linked fields can be activated in the settings of the custom fields:

How to link fields
Linking fields involves two steps:
- Add the required fields to objects or contact templates.
- Link the fields by editing their settings directly in objects or contact templates.
Possible linked field combinations
- Single field → Single field
- Single field → Multiple fields
- Multiple fields → Single field
- Multiple fields → Multiple fields
Examples of field links
For tasks:
- Truck — Cargo
- Lease agreement — Apartment
For contacts:
- Teacher — Student
- Branch Office — Head Office
