A task draft appears automatically in the system a few seconds after you start creating the task. This helps to preserve the results of task creation in the event of a power outage or other unexpected events.
Knowing that a draft is a task that has yet to be assigned is important. Only the task author and the system administrator can see the draft. A task in this status is not intended for work. The administrator only has access to it for account management reasons, not to make changes or use it in any other way.
Due to its unique status, a draft has some limitations. In particular, changing the assignee is impossible, and scripts and variables do not work. These limitations are removed once you have saved the task in a different status.
