Conversation history in emails for contacts without Planfix access

Planfix gives users the ability to add conversation history to email notifications for contacts without Planfix access.

To enable this, go to Account management / Email / Notifications for external contacts:

And activate the inclusion of the last messages from the email history in the text of the email sent by Planfix (the number of messages included depends on the package used):

After that, every email received from one of the contacts also contains the selected number of recent messages from the correspondence history:

Please note:

  • Using this option is unnecessary if the contacts you communicate with use modern email programs that can organize emails into threads. Threads are more convenient to use and better show the messaging history, while the additional history this option contains only clutters the information.
  • When communicating with different contacts (or employees) in parallel within a task, each contact only receives the messages sent or addressed to them as part of the history.
  • This option is only available to users with paid and premium accounts.
