Search filters are available in Planners. To use a filter, click the filter icon:
A window will open where you can enter a word or part of a word. This will filter out all objects in the planner that do not contain this word or part of a word in their name:
Using a planner is the same with or without a filter — you can, for example, find a task or contact and drag it to a different list.
