Dataminer is an AI-agent that can extract useful information from a contact’s comments and automatically populate the appropriate fields in a task.

What it does

  • Analyzes contact comments.
  • Finds the necessary data.
  • Automatically fills selected custom fields with this data.

How to set up

  • Go to the "Employees" — "Robots" section.
  • Select or create a robot.
  • Activate the "AI agent" option.
  • Select the agent type.
  • Specify which fields should be filled in, for example, the "City" or "Phone number" field.
  • (Optional) Add your own instructions.
  • Add the agent to the task as a participant or assignee.

Usage tips

  • Add the Dataminer to an Object as a task participant — this allows it to activate immediately upon task creation and start processing without delay.
  • You can also use it as a basic email parser: the email arrives, a task is created, and the Dataminer fills in the fields automatically.

Important

  • When new data is received, the agent can either overwrite or ignore it, depending on the configuration.
  • If the required fields are missing from the task, the agent won't be able to fill them in. Make sure that these fields have been added to the Object and specified in the agent’s settings.
  • Currently supported field types: Line, Number, Text, List, Set of values.
