With Planfix AI, you can automatically transcribe audio recordings of calls attached to tasks, comments, or contacts. This saves you time, as you no longer have to listen, but can devote yourself directly to analyzing the content of the call.

Use cases

You’ve added a client call recording to a task. Planfix AI automatically transcribes the audio and generates a text version that you can use for your work:

  • Technical support: Quickly understand the customer’s problem.
  • Sales: Analyse the customer's needs without having to listen to the recording.
  • Quality control: Easily check compliance with scripts.
  • Search: Find important call details faster.

How it works

  • A call recording is uploaded to Planfix.
  • Planfix AI automatically processes the audio and converts it to text.
  • The transcribed text is added as a comment to the task or object where the audio is attached.

How to set up

  • Go to Account management — Planfix AI — Speech recognition.
  • Enable the option Automatically transcribe call recordings.

Limitations and notes

  • The transcription is performed with a short delay:
    • A 3-minute message is transcribed in ~10 seconds and read in ~90 seconds — saving you ~1 minute 20 seconds.
    • A 10-minute customer conversation is transcribed in ~30 seconds, reads in ~5 minutes — saving ~4 minutes 30 seconds.
    • A 90-minute customer conversation is transcribed in ~1 minute and read out in ~45 minutes — this saves ~44 minutes.
  • The quality of the transcription depends on speech clarity, background noise, and language.
  • If necessary, the transcript can be edited manually.
