Every Planfix project has its own virtual email address.

Example: project+123@account.planfix.com

where:

  • 123 is the project number, and
  • account is the name of your Planfix account.

This address is generated automatically and cannot be edited. You can see the project email address in the project's Additional Options panel:

Emails sent to this address will be transformed into tasks for the project. Additional info:

  • If the project has a default task template specified, tasks will be created based on the template
  • If the project has default assignees or default project participants specified, they will be added to the created task

Rules for processing messages sent to project email addresses

Rules can be set in the Account Management section (available for account administrators) for processing emails sent to project email addresses:

Each email is checked to see if it meets the conditions to trigger each of the configured rules, sequentially.

If an email meets a rule's conditions, the operations described in the rule that affect the task created by the email will be carried out.

The rules you are able to create are the same as those for creating tasks from emails sent to internal contact email addresses.
