It's a good idea to complete a '''project''' with no more planned active tasks. When you do so, the task will get the status "Complete," but it will still be available in your [[Projects]] section.

The main advantage to completing a project is that complete projects won't be displayed in lists when you create a new task or in other places. This makes life easier: you'll have a smaller number of projects to search through.

You can return a completed project back to "Active" at any time (in the [[project card]]).
In Planfix, a project can have several statuses:
*'''Active''' — This status is assigned to projects currently being worked on or planned for the near future.
*'''Completed''' — Projects with no active tasks or planned activities should be marked as completed. These projects remain accessible in the Projects section but no longer appear in the lists when creating new tasks or in other areas requiring project selection.
*'''Draft''' — Projects in this status are not entirely created and only visible to their author. When they are finished, they can be moved to the Active status.
