To switch to the old display view of the comment feed, follow these steps:
- Click the "Eye" icon, which opens the feed view settings.
- Enable the old view – activate the previous display mode.
The main difference between the old comment feed view and the chat view is that in the old view, all elements (description, checklist, fields, and comments) are visible as soon as the task is opened. It is not necessary to switch between them as in the chat view. This layout has both advantages and disadvantages:
- Advantage: Everything is visible at once.
- Disadvantage: The comments may not fit on the screen if the description or checklist contains a lot of content:
In the old view, the entire background of a comment is highlighted with color instead of using a narrow strip on the left as in the chat view:
The comment input field is directly below the checklist, and the comment feed is always displayed below it:
All controls and actions for managing a comment are always visible. The comment input form looks visually cluttered as it contains many elements that are not always necessary for communication within a task:
