Task number

Tasks are assigned numbers automatically. You can see a task's number in the Details tab on the side panel:

or in the task filter:

Numbers can be useful for clarifying which task you're talking about:

• "task number 4356" instead of "that one task from John".

Numbers are also used when sending emails to a task's virtual email address.
