Adding employees via registration link
From Planfix
The “Registration link” button allows employees to create their own profiles in the Planfix account. The account manager only needs to grant them access to the system in bulk.
Where to find the registration link
- Open the "Employees" section.
- Click the "Registration Link" button.
- In the pop-up window, copy the generated registration link.
You can send this link to employees via any convenient channel: corporate chat, email, internal portal, etc.
How employees register via the link
When an employee clicks the registration link, they are directed to a page with a form that they must complete. After saving their data:
- An employee profile is created in your account.
- The employee appears in the general list in the "Employees" section.
- Access to the system is initially restricted for this employee.
How to grant access to registered employees
Once employees have completed their registration form via the link, the account manager needs to grant them access:
- Open the "Employees" section.
- Filter the employee list by “User without access.”
- Select the employees without access by checking the boxes next to their names.
- Use the “Bulk actions” feature and choose the option to grant access to the company account.
- After that, Planfix will send each selected employee an email with a login link to the system, sent to the email they registered with.
How to disable registration via the link
If you need to disable registration using the current link, you have two options:
- Regenerate the link — The old link will no longer work, and a new one will be generated. Anyone with the old link will no longer be able to use it to register.
- Delete the link — Registration via the link will be completely disabled until you create a new one.
To regenerate or delete the link:
- Open the "Employees" section.
- Click the "Registration link" button.
- Choose the desired action: “Regenerate” or “Delete” link.
Important
- Self-registration does not automatically grant employees access to the system. The account manager must grant access.
- Using the “User without access” filter and applying bulk actions simplifies onboarding for large groups of employees.
- At any time, you can regenerate or delete the registration link at any time to control which employees can register.
