Export a report<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Open the <strong>Reports<\/strong> section, select the report you need and run it. The <strong>Export<\/strong> button appears only once there are results on the screen; click it and choose the <strong>Google Sheets<\/strong> format. <a href=\"https:\/\/planfix.com\/features\/reports\/\">Planfix reports<\/a> also export to XLSX and CSV, so the same table can go to a spreadsheet for extra math or to a client as a file. Export tasks and their data<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Task data can be exported from either the <strong>Projects<\/strong> or the <strong>Tasks<\/strong> section. Open the list you need and narrow it with the filter: you can select active or overdue tasks, or tasks where you are the assigner or the assignee. Then open the column settings and choose which task data to export \u2014 the columns you keep are the columns you get in the sheet. Any contact filter has its own <strong>Export<\/strong> button, which downloads every contact matching that filter\u2019s criteria; Excel is the default format, with CSV and Google Sheet as the alternatives. Adjust the grouping in the report to export more data \u2014 the more levels the report displays, the more detail reaches the sheet. If an export looks thinner than expected, the report setup is usually the place to look, not the export itself; for task and contact exports, the equivalent setting is the list of columns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Contact exports are also logged, and the contact export log is kept for 90 days, like other activity logs.
