Start the lead ad on your Facebook page<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Open your company page on Facebook and click <strong>Promote<\/strong>, then select the <strong>Create a new ad<\/strong> ad type. Specify that the goal of the ad is to attract more leads and fill in the fields in the <strong>Ad design<\/strong> block.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2. Build the lead form<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Click <strong>Create form<\/strong> and set up the form that collects customer information. Customize the form text, specify which contact details you want, add a few short questions, set the language, add a privacy policy and save the form. Then complete the <strong>Advantage+ creative<\/strong> and <strong>Special ad category<\/strong> fields, specify the audience the form should be shown to, and finish with the duration, placements and payment method.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3. Connect the page in Planfix<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Planfix, go to <strong>Account Management<\/strong> \u2014 <strong>Integrations<\/strong> \u2014 <strong>Social media<\/strong> \u2014 <strong>Facebook integration<\/strong>, click <strong>Add page<\/strong> and select your company\u2019s page, then allow Planfix to receive the information it needs from Facebook. An empty page list means your Facebook account is not linked to any company pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 4. Choose templates and assignees for lead tasks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Open the integration settings for the page and fill in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Object (template) for creating new tasks from leads<\/strong> \u2014 the <a href=\"https:\/\/planfix.com\/features\/task-templates\/\">task template<\/a> used to create lead tasks, with the fields your team needs; the integration also takes a template for tasks from direct messages to the page;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Template for creating new contacts<\/strong> \u2014 the template for the contact card of each new lead;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Add additional assignees<\/strong> and <strong>Create messages in Planfix from user<\/strong> \u2014 who else joins lead tasks, and whose name appears on messages sent from Planfix.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If your account has no suitable templates yet, create them first and then add them to the integration preferences. When no assignees are set anywhere, Planfix assigns the account owner or whoever configured the integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 5. Sync the lead form fields<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The last step is matching form fields with task and contact fields in Planfix. To get the field names right, send yourself a test lead: in Facebook\u2019s lead ads testing tool, pick your page in the <strong>Page<\/strong> field, your form in the <strong>Form<\/strong> field and click <strong>Create lead<\/strong>. The test lead arrives in Planfix with all the form fields, and their names are what you map.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the task template contains fields with the same names as the questions in your form, Planfix fills them in automatically when a lead task is created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What arrives in Planfix after a form is submitted<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once the setup is done, everyone who fills out the form becomes a new contact in Planfix. Alongside the contact, Planfix creates a task from the template you specified in the integration settings, and its description contains everything you asked in the lead form, so the assignee can call or write back without opening Facebook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Someone already in your contact list does not get a duplicate card: the existing contact is matched by email or phone and becomes the assigner of the new lead task.
