A task is the basic information unit in Planfix. In [https://planfix.com/ideology/ our ideology], this one performs many roles - this is the event, and the discussion, and any other entity that your business needs. The task necessarily has an author and a name, the other of its requisites are optional. We are working on giving you the opportunity to customize the look and content of tasks in your Planfix.
Tasks are the fundamental units of Planfix. In our [https://planfix.com/philosophy/ Planfix's philosophy], tasks play several roles: they are Events, Meetings, Discussions, and any other entities that are essential to your business. Tasks must have a creator and a name; the remaining fields are optional.
 
Typically, the task is created within a project. However, this is not a prerequisite - it is entirely reasonable that the system has tasks without a project. Even after creating it, any task can be placed in any of the available projects or transferred from one project to another.
Tasks are generally created within a [[Projects | project]]. However, this isn't mandatory: it's perfectly normal to have a task without a project. Tasks can be moved into any available project after they have been created, or they can be moved from one project to another.
