VIES

Integration with VIES allows you to check the validity of VAT identification numbers for companies registered in European Union countries.

Typically used for:

• Quick verification of European counterparties.
• Auto-filling company details when registering a customer.
• Can be used in business processes, for example, to notify when a VAT number is invalid.

What it does

• Checks the validity of a VAT number.
• Retrieves the official company name.

How to use

• Enter the VAT number in the contact card field.
• Planfix will send a request to the VIES system.
• If the number is valid, the required data will be automatically filled in the specified fields.

Integration setup

• Go to Account Management — Integrations — Autofill services.
